Every loudspeaker is hand assembled, tested and tuned with a singular focus on musical enjoyment.

We believe great hi-fi should do more than reproduce sound.

It should connect you with the emotion, energy and humanity of music.

Whether it makes you smile, brings back a memory or introduces you to something entirely new, our aim is simple.

To help you enjoy more music, more often.

Things Not To Do

Thank you for choosing the
Neat Iota Alpha II.

Designed and built in Great Britain, the Iota Alpha II is an ultra-compact floorstanding loudspeaker that delivers the scale, clarity and timing of much larger speakers.

Set them up carefully, give them time to settle and your speakers will reward you with a natural and engaging musical experience.

Enjoy the music.

The Neat Team

Five-minute setup
Place. Connect. Listen. Adjust.

1: Fit the spikes. Lay the speaker on its side on a soft, clean surface, taking care not to touch the drive units.

Screw the supplied spikes into the threaded inserts and tighten by hand. The spike tips are sharp, so handle with care.

For wooden or delicate floors, place the supplied protective discs beneath the spikes, locating the tips in the recesses for added stability and floor protection.

2: Ensure the red (+) and black (-) terminals match the amplifier at both ends

3: Position the speakers so they form and equal-sided triangle with the listener.

4: Begin with the speakers pointing straight ahead. Adjust toe-in slightly to refine focus.

1: Room acoustics will influence bass and imaging. A typical listening distance is between 1.5m and 2.5m.

2: For optimum stereo imaging, position the loudspeakers with the EMIT planar magnetic tweeters on the outside edges of the stereo pair. Some listeners may, however, prefer the tweeters on the inside. This generally produces a more focused central image, but with a slightly less expansive soundstage.

3: Placing your speakers closer to the rear wall will increase bass output, while moving them further into the room will usually improve openness and clarity.

4: Avoid corners, as they can exaggerate bass and produce a boomy sound.

Do not touch the tweeter or mid bass drive units.

Do not open the enclosure. There are no user serviceable parts.

Do not place near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

Do not expose to water or moisture.

Do not place objects on top. Vibrations may cause damage.

Do not use solvents, sprays or abrasive cleaners.
